NYT Mini is a smaller, faster, easier to understand, bite-sized version of the bigger, more difficult NYT crossword. Unlike its bigger sibling, it’s free to play without a subscription to The New York Times. You can play it on the web or in the app, but you’ll need the app to tackle the archives.
Some of today’s words are quite easy, but some might leave you confused. Find the answers below. Naturally, there are spoilers ahead, so read on for images of the puzzle we solved today.

I finished it super fast today. Sunday’s mini crossword is the easiest of the week, so that’s to be expected. 4-Down was almost completely filled in by the time I started, so I was able to solve it without actually guessing the words. Saturday’s crossword actually had some tough questions, but unlike the Saturday crossword, none of these crosswords were too much of a struggle. What did you guys do? Let me know.
