Detroit — General Motors The automaker is expanding its luxury GMC Yukon lineup to add a new AT4 Ultimate model as part of an update to the large SUV for the 2025 model year.
The new model sits between the premium Denali and Denali Ultimate models. The company didn’t disclose pricing for the new AT4 Ultimate, but the Denali models currently start at about $77,300 and just under $100,000, respectively. The current AT4 model starts at $73,500.
Now in its 25th year, the Denali model has become a cash cow for GMC, and in recent years the company has added Ultimate and AT4 models with off-road styling and exclusive parts to further expand the luxury model’s reach and price.

“We’re raising the bar on customer expectations for GMC’s flagship vehicles, and the addition of the AT4 Ultimate trim combines ruggedness and functionality with craftsmanship and refinement,” Duncan Aldred, GMC global vice president, said in the release.
AT4 sales account for about 17 percent of overall Yukon sales, compared with the Denali model, which accounts for more than 50 percent of the large SUV’s sales.
The new AT4 Ultimate model includes features such as front skid plates, 20-inch wheels with all-terrain tires, and a four-corner adaptive air suspension that can lift the vehicle up to two inches.
GM says the premium model has helped GMC raise the average transaction price for the Yukon to roughly $80,000.
