Krispy Kreme — Shares soared nearly 14% during premarket trading after the company announced it would sell donuts in McDonald’s stores nationwide by the end of 2026, with a rollout starting in the second half of this year. Krispy Kreme is starting test sales at some McDonald’s stores in 2022, and the expanded partnership will double the donut maker’s current sales volume. McDonald’s stock fell more than 1%. Seagate Technology — The data storage stock rose 4.1% after Morgan Stanley upgraded the stock to overweight from equal weight. Morgan Stanley said that the company’s profitability has improved due to factors such as generative artificial intelligence. McCormick — Shares rose nearly 4% after the spice maker reported higher profits and revenue. First-quarter adjusted earnings per share were 63 cents, beating the 58 cents expected by analysts surveyed by FactSet. Sales came in at $1.6 billion, compared to expectations of $1.55 billion. United Parcel Service — The shipping company’s stock rose 3% after the company released its long-term forecast. The company said it expects consolidated revenue in 2026 to be between $108 billion and $114 billion. UPS reported that its consolidated revenue for 2023 will drop to $91 billion. Super Microcomputer — Shares rose 3.1%, continuing gains from Monday, when JPMorgan initiated coverage of the stock with an overweight rating. The company cited Supermicrocomputer, which makes server and storage solutions, as a leader in the AI computing market, which is “still in its infancy.” Micron Technology — The company’s stock rose 1.5% as Mizuho Securities reiterated its Buy rating and said it expects stronger-than-expected sales from late 2024 to 2025 due to strong AI opportunities. Taiwan Semiconductor — Shares rose 1% after JPMorgan reiterated its overweight rating on semiconductor stocks.
