new set of counter strike 2 Patch notes were released overnight, and the latest update adds Weapon Charms for the first time in the series, along with a slew of other new skins and cosmetics, and a way to earn some of them for free in-game. It was done.
Weapon charms have been added after being teased several times over the past few months CS2 With the new patch notes, you can now attach tiny little 3D charms to your guns to further customize them. The first charm includes a small sausage-like character design that looks pretty cool, as well as smaller versions of some of the iconic ones. CS2 It’s a little less cool looking, but still a fun weapon.
Like charms in other games, these appear to have a full physics system around them, so they move around in-game to match the movement of your actual weapon, adding even more personality and customization to your kit.
Another big addition to the patch is the new Armory Pass system. This allows you to earn free in-game cosmetics regardless of your random drop luck. next time it starts CS2 You can choose one or up to five Armory paths to work on. When active, these track XP earned from playing the game and can be exchanged for in-game items upon completion. This makes expanding the range of cosmetics in the game a little easier.
Elsewhere in the patch notes, three new cases have been added, both of which look pretty cool. The Overpass collection has added a number of skins based on the map of the same name, and the B The Monster AK skin is a particular highlight as it is designed based on the artwork of the monsters on the map.
Another new case is the Graphic Collection, which offers a more subdued and stylish design based on print media technology. The CMYK AWP skin in particular looks really great, but I feel like it’s a bit underrated considering how simple it looks.
Finally, we have the Sport and Field Collection. I think this is trying to make the weapon look like something that might be used in athletic competitions, but I don’t know enough about guns to say that for sure. For me, this is the most overwhelming case. This is because many of the designs are very similar and feel like things that are already in the game. But some people will definitely love them.
The full patch notes also include some changes to the game, but mostly based on new item cosmetics and animations.
