I couldn’t think of a word I liked, so I started with one of Wordle Bot’s favorite words. trace One lonesome yellow “A” and 185 possible solutions remained. That turned out to be a solid reasoning, and there was only one solution left, but it took me a while to figure out what it was. Then suddenly, Voila! Presto! Wordle!

Origin of today’s Wordle
The word “voilà ” is of French origin and functions as a combined form of the verbs “voir” (to see) and “là ” (there). The literal translation in English is “See there.” Usage is often to present or introduce something, or to express satisfaction with a newly completed task or item revealed. The term was adopted into English and other languages to convey similar expressions and meanings of revelation while preserving the original French spelling and pronunciation.
